The idea could be seen as the helium that fills the paper and makes it float toward a dimension beyond the merely material, as it already contains something abstract — a small portion of imagination represented through one drawing after another, carried out by this Inopia before letting them go and granting each its own destiny, while other Inopias, just as the experiences that nourish the artist do, help with the generation of ideas.

This work belongs to the series “Self-Portraits”, released at JUSTMAD25. In these pieces I become just another spectator, observing what an Inopia draws with the pen I have given it and reflecting on the different scenes that arise from its imagination and curiosity, drawing depth from this kind of meta–self-portrait, where my inner world enters into dialogue with that of my creations.
