This work belongs to the series “Self-Portraits”, released at JUSTMAD25. In these pieces I become just another spectator, observing what an Inopia draws with the pen I have given it and reflecting on the different scenes that arise from its imagination and curiosity, drawing depth from this kind of meta–self-portrait, where my inner world enters into dialogue with that of my creations.

I usually enjoy bringing the strange ideas that flutter through the fictional world of imagination down onto paper, but it is also comforting to portray reality when part of it consists of the curious imaginative mind of another artist. This is the case with the great Miguel B, whose piece attempts to represent the Inopia in this scene, while its companions interact with the sculpture just as the art of the three artists in the stand entered into dialogue to create some of the works presented at the fair that hosted them.
