This work belongs to the series “Self-Portraits”, released at JUSTMAD25. In these pieces I become just another spectator, observing what an Inopia draws with the pen I have given it and reflecting on the different scenes that arise from its imagination and curiosity, drawing depth from this kind of meta–self-portrait, where my inner world enters into dialogue with that of my creations.

I am not sure it is a good idea to bring a sharp object close to a balloon, but tension is always stimulating in one way or another, and exploring the sensations that arise during the creative process is as well — especially if we pause to analyze the elements represented while considering their relationship with their real-life models in the logical world, which in art blends with fantasy and imagination.
