Art explaining its art to its own art. A fourth (or perhaps fifth) layer is added when I explain this piece in person to the viewer, as happened during the fair. It is often interesting to peek inside the minds of artists when they reveal them outwardly. Personally, I like to pay attention to details that at first might seem irrelevant, but that sometimes hold deeper roots than the main themes—such as the small true author of this work within the work itself, the only piece in the series in which two pens appear.

Descripción:
This work belongs to the series “Self-Portraits”, released at JUSTMAD25. In these pieces I become just another spectator, observing what an Inopia draws with the pen I have given it and reflecting on the different scenes that arise from its imagination and curiosity, drawing depth from this kind of meta–self-portrait, where my inner world enters into dialogue with that of my creations.
