The Inopias symbolize curiosity, doubt and imagination. They are beings that need to answer the questions suggested both by their surroundings and by their inner selves. The thing is that, although they learn and discover, they soon forget much of what they have acquired, simply to continue searching for answers endlessly. Over time I have discovered that the Inopias represent a part of my subconscious, so these works are simply scenes where these little creatures do their thing while I observe, extracting messages and symbolism that make the Inopias grow while they in turn create more depth, in a continuous evolution.

We shouldn’t trust the first layer of reality that reaches our brain, which is used to processing perceptions automatically. If we stop to consciously analyze them and think about them a bit, we might discover details that went unnoticed at first glance, even though they were always there.
