This work belongs to the series “Self-Portraits”, released at JUSTMAD25. In these pieces I become just another spectator, observing what an Inopia draws with the pen I have given it and reflecting on the different scenes that arise from its imagination and curiosity, drawing depth from this kind of meta–self-portrait, where my inner world enters into dialogue with that of my creations.

All of us have felt more laziness than excitement at some point when being congratulated while people sing “Happy Birthday.” But just as happens to the central Inopia in this work, deep down we appreciate that the people close to us think about us. Besides, although it is “suffering” through the scene, it is actually the one who has drawn it.
