This work belongs to the series “Self-Portraits”, released at JUSTMAD25. In these pieces I become just another spectator, observing what an Inopia draws with the pen I have given it and reflecting on the different scenes that arise from its imagination and curiosity, drawing depth from this kind of meta–self-portrait, where my inner world enters into dialogue with that of my creations.

Sad because no one has remembered its birthday, this Inopia has not stopped to think that, because of the amnesia suffered by its species, it may have simply confused the date. As often happens to all of us, it is not yet able to escape the loop of negative thoughts it has fallen into. But there is no need to worry — soon it will forget why it had a little cake in its hand, and it will happily eat it 🙂
